Accessibility

Last updated July 2026

We want the builder, and the websites it produces, to be usable by as many people as possible.

What we do today

  • Generated sites use semantic HTML5 landmarks, headings and labelled form fields.
  • Images generated or uploaded receive descriptive alt text where available.
  • Layouts are responsive and work with browser zoom and mobile screen widths.
  • Builder controls have accessible labels and visible focus states.

Your responsibility as a site owner

Once you edit colours, text and images, contrast and alt text can change. Please review your published site so it stays readable for your visitors.

Report a barrier

If something is hard to use, email support@webdesignforfree.com with what you were trying to do and we will look into it.
