Stay on the free link when

• You are testing an idea or a second service line.
• You mainly get work through referrals and social profiles.
• You want something live today with nothing to configure.

Move to your own domain when

• You are printing the address on a van, a card or a shopfront.
• You are running ads and want the address to look established.
• You want email on the same name as your website.

How connecting works

You can connect a domain you already own. Connecting an existing domain means adding two A records and two TXT records at your registrar; the builder then checks them for you and provisions the certificate automatically. Custom domains are part of the Premium plan.
